Philosophy

Our goal is to consistently provide a focused, structured learning environment while instilling passion, work ethic and skill to our basketball community. We will do this through all that we do, including every facet of our instruction - at camp, at our events and our products.

 

History

In 2000, Steve Beck brought the 5 Star vision to the Greater Washington area. Now with 1,000 children a year attending a 5 Star of Greater Washington camp, 5 Star is the leading instructional basketball camp in the area. 5 Star is most proud of the opportunity to work with players and raise their game to their highest level. This has enabled tens of thousands of 5 Star participants to play basketball in college and beyond.

Grants Available

The 5 Star Foundation is the non-profit arm of 5 Star Basketball. It has several programs to help improve and educate the community, including camp grants for financially disadvantaged children. Read the grant request for more information.
